TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Ministry’s Fiscal Agency head Andin Hadiyanto said on Friday, October 24, 2014, the government is preparing the personnel to run the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Centre that will be fully operational in 2015.

“We have allocated the human resources and conducted the recruitment,” Andin said in Jakarta.

The administration center to establish the institution to manage infrastructure projects initited by the government and private sectors is almost completed. The PPP Center has also gained joint approval from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) countries. However, the agency is still looking for people to head the center and its divisions.

“BKF overseas-graduated staff will be prepared to fill the positions,” Andin explained.

The PPP Centre will receive technical assistance from Australia and Canada over its daily operational. One of the institution’s tasks is to review fiscal reform amid global economic slowdown today.

According to Andin, the government must ensure the availability of integrated permit services, electricity and infrastructure to attract new investors. In terms of taxes, the government will provide incentives for newly started businesses.
