TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After presenting Android L last June, Google is set to launch Android Lollipop 5.0, boasting its new look and features. Despite having yet announced its release date, Google claimed that the new operating system will be ready in the next few weeks.
Google said that Lollipop will first be made available for Nexus 5 and 9, before reaching Motorola Moto and HTC One 8. As for the performance itself, CNET has released a preview on Lollipop 5.0, citing several new features the new OS has.
Google claimed that Lollipop will be dominated with bright colors, unlike the previous Android gadgets, Lollipop will also resemble iOS in terms of its notification with on-screen pop-up bubble and pop-up message notification.
Lollipop will also be able to share with other device, such as with tablet PC. Most importantly, Lollipop boasts battery saving mode that will save up to 90 minutes of battery use.
