TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After receiving compliments at its introduction in the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin in September, Huawei Ascend Mate 7 was finally introduced in Indonesia on Thursday alongside Ascend P7.
CEO of Huawei Indonesia Sheng Kai believes that Indonesian people are getting smarter in choosing high quality products that match their daily needs.
"We are confident that our premium design and best quality will be welcomed by Indonesian consumers," Sheng said during the product launching in Jakarta. As the first China's company that breaks into 2014 Interbrand Top 100 Best Global Brands, Sheng continued, Huawei is optimistic enough to target 10 percent of market in two years.
Carrying the advanced architecture of octa-core, the Ascend 7 comes with Huawe Kirin 925 processor consisting of four A15 1.8 GHz large chips and four At 1.3 GHz small chips. The 6-inch screen smartphone becomes the first that uses one-finger-touch tech to unlock the screen.
On the other hand, Ascend P7 offers daily protection with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in the front and rear body. This type is provided with 5-inch screen with 1,920x1,080 pixel resolution.
Ascend Mate 7 is tagged Rp6.49 million while Ascend P7 is tagged Rp5.99 million.
