Tangguh Gas Enters Lampung Soon

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Lampung floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) and owned by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero), known as PGN for short, will soon receive additional supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The Lampung FSRU is scheduled to receive two cargos of LNG from Tangguh, Papua on October 26 and 22 November 22.
"This is the second and the third cargo to be distributed to PGN's Lampung FSRU after the first shipment at the end of July 2014," PGN LNG Indonesia president director Nisi Setyobudi sain in an email Tuesday, October 14.
After arriving in Lampung, the LNG cargos will be regassified and distributed to customers. One of Lampung FSRU's gas buyers is state power company PT PLN.
The Lampung FSRU has a maximum regasification capacity of 240 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). PGN is renting the FSRU from PT Hoegh LNG Lampung.
