TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President-elect Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo said to have never offered any ministerial post to the United Development Party (PPP).

"We have never offered any ministerial position to the PPP. Those [parties] who have been with us since the beginning were not offered [the ministerial positions]. How can I offer such posts to a newly-joined party?" Jokowi said earlier today.

Jokowi explained that the PPP has yet to decide to join his coalition, saying that the party is still in communication with Jokowi’s coalition.

"I meet a lot of people every day. I can't mention them one by one," said Jokowi, refusing to reveal which PPP cadres he met.

Jokowi also said that his coalition is opened to other parties, not just the PPP, to join with several conditions.
