TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – A total of 1,624 units of Mitsubishi passenger cars were sold during the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) event held from September 18-28.
“The total sales were 1,624 units,” said Jerry Amran, the chief of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation public relations division of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (PT KTB)—the sole distributor agent of Mitsubishi cars in Indonesia.
Jerry said the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport recorded the highest sales figure with 872 units, followed by the Outlander Sport SUV with 326 units, city car Mitsubishi Mirage with 287 units, and sport utility MPV Mitsubishi Delica, which was released on the first day of the IIMS, with 103 units.
With the sales figure of the Delica during the IIMS, PT KTB would only need to sell another 47 units to meet the sales target for the Delica by the end of the year.
The general manager of MMC marketing division of PT KTB, Djuljamono, said the company sought to sell 150 Delica units this year.
