TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency Muhammad Akbar said that the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) is set for trial in Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday. Akbar said that the trial will cast 100 units of on-board ERP units, as distributed to car owners.
Akbar explained that the ERP device is installed at Setiabudi One Building for three months. Unlike that in Senayan Boulevard, the ERP device is on reversed-L shape instead of a goal post shape.
Moreover, ERP has undergone few improvements, especially on the ability to scan vehicle’s number. Officers are also available to help if such case happens. Other improvement is on ERP post, in which to be decided if the guard on duty will be from the police, transportation agency, or both.
