TEMPO.CO, Inchehon – National wushu athlete Lindswell Kwok has snatched a silver medal in the 2014 Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea, adding Indonesia’s collection to three silver and one bronze medals.
Lindswell secured the second place after scoring 9.69 in taijiquan and taijijian all-round, while Chinese athlete Yu Mengmeng won the gold medal after making 9.75.
Lindswell, born in 1991, has won a number of international tournaments. Last year, she won a gold medal at the International Championship in Cali, Colombia, and another at the 2013 SEA Games in Myanmar. Her silver medal in Incheon has been seen as an ultimate comeback as she fell short four years ago in Guangzhou.
