TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Health Agency chief Dien Emawati targeted to finish setting up an online integrated system between community health centers (Puskesmas) and local hospitals in the next two months. The integration system is currently in verification phase.
“The only thing left to do is to verify which puskesmas is mostly referred to Pasar Rebo Hospital, which puskesmas that can be referred to Budhi Asih Hospital and so on,” she said on Sunday, adding that the online system will become one format for referral system.
So far, Tarakan Hospital is the only one that already has online system. All hospitals in Jakarta have been targeted to have online as well as referral system. “Koja Hospital, Cengkareng Hospital, Budhi Asih Hospital, Pasar Rebo Hospital; we will make the system for all of them,” she said.
The integrated online system aims to ease patients and doctors beause patients still have to wait for queue for hours. “Today is an are of technology. People should not wait from three in the morning,” she said.
Dien added that the integration program needs no fund at all. “There are already many computers in puskesmas. Funds are enough for connection and puskesmas. We have no budget.”
