TEMPO.CO, London - Danny Welbeck finally scored his first goal for Arsenal when The Gunners won over Aston Villa 3-0 in the England Premier League campaign last night. The former player of Manchester United gained appreciation from Coacn Arsene Wenger.
"He scored a similar goal to the one he scored in Switzerland [for England]," said Wenger to the Mirror.
"I think he had a very good performance today because he kept the ball."
Wenger believes that ball retention is important for Welbeck's position at the middle.
Welbeck joined The Gunners early in the summer and had appeared twice against Manchester City and Bayern Muenchen where he failed to score a goal. With a goal he finally sunk to Aston Villa net, Welbeck has proven his worth as a striker.
