TEMPO.CO, London - Liverpool had to wait until the last minute to score a victory against Ludogorets at Anfield Stadium earlier today.

The Reds won 2-1 against Bulgarian team Ludogorets, all goals notably scored at the end of the second half.

It was Mario Balotelli who scored the first goal for Liverpool in the 82nd. Ludogorets player Dani Abalo equalized the scoreline one minute in the injury time.

Luckily for Liverpool, Steven Gerrard won a penalty two minutes after, scoring a breath-taking goal for Liverpool.

The winning certainly served as a great start for Liverpool in Champions League after years of hiatus.

In the next group matches, Liverpool are set to face defending champion Real Madrid and dark horse FC Basel.
