TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia U-23 National Team are to begin their campaign in Asian Games 2014 facing Timor Leste in Goyang Stadium, South Korea, today. The young Garuda need to score three points, in order to keep the odds in the group.
"We have the odds in winning the game, but most importantly we do not want to underestimate the opponent," said National Team Manager Aji Santoso. Moreover, Aji viewed that the team is far stronger with Japanese Manager Norio Tsukitate and four Brazilians Paulo Herber, Filipe, Viola, and Pualo Martins. "We have to keep our eyes open," said the former national player.
Indonesia had included three senior players on the squad namely Victor Igbonefo, Ahmad Jufriyanto, and Ferdinand Sinaga. As for the match, only midfielder Rizki Ramdani Lestaluhu is off the list due to illness.
