Canon PowerShot SX10 IS

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Canon introduces new pocket camera PowerShot SX400 IS featuring ZoomPlus technology. The zooming technology is claimed to enable users to shoot objects from distant.

"This will produce images similar to those taken from very close distance," said Merry Harun, Canon Division Director of PT Datasrcipt, Canon’s distributor in Indonesia Thursday.

PowerShot SX 400 IS has the resolution of 16 megapixels with wide angle and 24-720-milimeter super telephoto lenses. The optical zoom is claimed to be able to produce 30-time sharper images and up to 60-times using the ZoomPlus.

The Image Stabilizer technology is also planted to prevent blurry image due to shocks. When used to record video the camera is able to produce high-definition (HD) video with 25p frame rate.

One unit of PoweShot SX400 is tagged at Rp1.95 million.
