Florence Sihombing Apologizes for Insulting Yogyakarta Residents

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Florence Sihombing, a Notary Major master student at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has finally apologized through her Path account. The matter is performed after being jeered by people in social media for criticizing the city of Yogyakarta.
"My family and I, along with friends involved, sincerely apologized to the people of Yogyakarta for my bad language in Path," Florence wrote in her Path account yesterday.
Florence has also apologized to the University, especially to the Law Faculty along with lecturers and fellow students of Law Faculty of UGM for her actions. Florence said to never mention UGM concerning to the matter. "I don’t know which irresponsible individuals dramatized and spread my Path status," she said.
Florence promised she would not repeat her actions on insulting the city and residents of Yogyakarta. "I’m sorry," Florence said.
Florence was 'famous' after tweeting on the internet. She insulted Yogyakarta through Path and Twitter with harsh words, making the people of Yogyakarta furious.
"Yogyakarta is poor, stupid and uncultured. Friends from Jakarta-Bandung don’t stay in Yogyakarta," Florence wrote in her Path account.
