Police HQ Investigate Online Betting Graft

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police Headquarter earlier today investigated the suspect on online betting graft Senior Commissioner Murjoko Budoyono for five hours. Murjoko’s lawyer Dion Y. Pongkor refused to inform the media on the result of the investigation, citing only that Murjoko is in dangerous position.

Deputy Director of Corruption Penal Case, Senior Commissioner Akhmad Wiyagus, confirmed that the investigation takes place today, yet also refusing to entail the details of investigation. "We will explain later once we are at court," said the commissioner.

Murjoko is suspected of gratification for receiving over Rp6.5 billion from online betting from two dealers, AD and T. Investigator of Crime Resort Unit at the Police, Senior Commissioner Yudhiawan, said that the money was a fee to open blocking towards 18 online betting account.
