Israle, Palestine Agreed to a Long-Term Ceasefire

TEMPO.CO, Cairo - Israel military and Palestinian militants have agreed to a long-term ceasefire in the Gaza Strip yesterday at 7:00 PM local time.

Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri, said that they are here to celebrate the victory of Gaza by the mercy of Allah, and the persistent and royal struggle by their people.

In the negotiation, which is mediated by Egypt, Israel has agreed to lift the blockade previously established on Gaza borders, allowing humanitarian aid to be delivered to the region.

A spokesperson for Israel said that Israel has accepted Egypt’s proposal for a long term truce in Gaza. There have been small celebrations in the streets of Gaza City hailing a "victory". However, Hamas has not achieved its main demand as Israel had not yet approved the opening of a seaport or an airport, and access to funding. The two parties are set for another negotiation one month from now.
