Unair Team up with Microsoft to Develop Cloud-based System

TEMPO.CO, Surabaya - Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya has integrated its Cyber Campus application with Microsoft's cloud technology to facilitate the learning process. The integration and implementation process is assisted by Navcore Nextology. The Cyber Campus is now connected to Microsoft Office 365 app.
"Our steps to be the world class university become smoother after the strategic cooperation with Microsoft," said Fasichul Lisan, Rector of Universitas Airlangga.
The technology connects 30,000 students and 1,000 lecturers and staff to campus’ online system from anywhere. It enables the distance learning and is seen to be advantageous to increase the learning quality.
"The program is part of the Microsoft’s corporate citizenship program to help achieve knowledge-based society vision in 2020," said Ruben Hattari the Microsoft’s Corporate Affairs Director.
