TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Diehard supporters of Prabowo Subianto had breached the steel wall in front of the Indosat Building. In order to disperse the crowd, the police deployed two K-9 units.

Another pack of supporters, seen in Jalan Merdeka Barat, pushed the barbed wire and shouted "forward!" They were seen orating on top of four unimog vehicles and a giant truck.

In response to the imminent clash, riot police equipped with armored vehicles prepared to launch tear gas towards the angry mob. Meanwhile, other officers established a human-barricade, attempting to disperse the crowd using their less-lethal baton.

Similar situation took place in front of the Bank Indonesia roundabout, where the police deployed tear gas and used water canon to stop the mob's advance.
