TEMPO.CO, London - Arsenal reversed the score and claimed victory over Crystal Palace 1-2 at the England Premiere League opener at The Emirates earlier this morning. The late goal by Aaron Ramsey completed the disastrous week for the Palace after the departure of manager Tony Pulis less than two days before the kick start.
The Eagles took the lead through Bred Hangeland head-shot at the 35th but The Gunners equalized the score through Laurent Koscielny who headed home Alexis Sanchez’s free kick before the half-time break.
Playing with only ten players after Jason Punchein was awarded his second yellow card, The Eagles worked all their best on the defense. Eventually, however, Ramsey managed to score the winning goal by kicking in the ball that bounced back from Mathieu Debuchy’s unsuccessful shot at the 90th.
