TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The recruitment of Jakarta civil servants (CPNS) will be re-opened in the near future. This year, Jakarta Provincial Government only gets 133 formation. But its amount is still far from the required employees, between 3000 to 5000 civil servants.

"As many as 133 formation that have been approved by Ministry for the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform this year," said Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD), I Made Karmayoga, at City Hall, Friday.

Karmayoga stated CPNS formation approved by central government this year is still lacking. "We still need 3,000 to 5,000 employees," he said.

To meet the employee needs, he uttered, Jakarta government has filed 1,000 new formation to Ministry for the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform.

"We only get 133 formation this year, and it is very far from required employees. Certainly, busyness, tired and costs are the same for me. Moreover, we cannot repress people who will enroll and participate in the recruitment process," he expressed.

He hoped the central government may approve his requests additional employees, even though there is a mandatory requirement.

The reason is needs of teacher and employees in several vital departments is still very lacking. "We are still waiting for answer. There would be an option, whether 133 formation are done now or combined with formation next year or due to the principle of efficient and effective. Hopefully our proposal can be approved, particularly for elementary school teacher formation," he uttered.
