TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Starting August 1, TransJakarta will no longer serve the purchase of of Kopaja, Kopami, APTB, and BKTB tickets. "However, the buses will still pass through busway lane," said Pargaulan Butarbutar from TransJakarta.
Transjakarta is focusing on e-ticketing, in which all corridors are expected to use e-ticket by the end of this year. "As for August, all corridor I must have used e-ticket," Butarbutar added.
The tickets for Kopaja AC, Kopami, APTB, or BKTB can be purchased directly at the bus, he said, which means passengers need to pay Transjakarta e-ticket before using Kopaja, Kopami, APTB, or BKTB. "They have to buy the ticket twice," he said, adding: "So that we can focus on improving Transjakarta service."
