TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The TransJakarta management unit announced that they will continue to serve bus passengers on Eid al-Fitr day that is predicted to take place on July 28. The unit's chief, Pargaolan Butar Butar, said they will increase buses that drive pass tourist destinations. “There are 46 additional buses,” he said when contacted by Tempo, Saturday, July 26.
According to Pargaolan, the additional vehicles are to anticipate the surge of passengers who want to travel to those tourist spots. He said that many residents from Jakarta and its surrounding areas want to visit tourist places during Eid Day.
For local tourist areas that are predicted to be crowded by visitors are Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Margasatwa Ragunan, Impian Jaya Ancol parks, and the National Monument. He said those places have become families' favourite tourist spots in Jakarta.
