TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Citilink Commercial Project Director, Hans Nugroho, stated that the aviation company's tickets for homecoming and returning from the Eid holiday were all sold out. “There are no more tickets,” he said after the Mudik Bareng Indomaret event at Halim Perdanakusuma airport, Friday, July 25.
Hans explained that flight tickets for Eid Day were sold out since D-4. “They are sold out since July 21,” he said.
According to Hans, new tickets can be purchased next month. “New flight tickets are available from August 5,” he uttered. He said this year's number of passengers during the homecoming season has increased by 20 percent compared with its previous year.
In order to decrease the crowd density, direct ticket sales at the airport are closed for 15 days. “We have informed the public that Soekarno-Hatta are not selling flight tickets from July 21 until August 4. Tickets can be purchased on respective airlines' websites or offices outside the airport,” said State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II secretary, Daryanto.
