TEMPO.CO, Madrid - Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is reported to migrate to Arsenal in this summer's transfer. Casillas has received an offer worth 100,000 poundsterling a-week.
The news was published in Metro, a daily Sports Newspaper in London, yesterday. Casillas is willing to leave Madrid for refusing to be the second layer goalkeeper after Diego Lopez, Metro said.
Casillas' position is even squeezed by Los Blancos' plan in bringing Columbian goalkeeper Keylor Navas, whose arrival will make Casillas to become the third layer.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is reported to have allowed Casillas leaving. However the negotiation between Casillas and Arsenal is still tough. The player is rumored to ask for a salary of 135,000 poundsterling a-week, while Arsenal’s offer still stands at 100,000.
