TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - James Rodriguez (J-Rod) believes that he can cope with the pressure of being a Real Madrid player after completing his move from Monaco. The player wishes that his being the third-most expensive player in the club’s history with 63 million pounds will not bother him.
“It’s a lot of pressure to be here but I’m prepared to face it,” said James, as cited by Marca. “This is a team I have always followed. I dreamed of being here."
The former Porto player has become hot commodity in this summer's transfer window following his impressive performance with Colombia national team. Despite the tremendous amount of transfer and the high expectation from Bernabeu public, James said that he does not feel like a starter. "I just want to train every day. I want to train well and be at a high level to be under consideration to get on the pitch,” he said.
