Jokowi was welcomed by Budi Hartono, the acting gubernatorial and foreign affairs bureau chief, followed by the Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama.
According to Heru, they will discuss the plenary meeting that will be held today at 2 p.m. "It is being discussed on who will be present," he said. The plenary meeting will also ratify some regional regulations.
Since June 1, Jokowi has been non-active as Jakarta Governor as he ran for presidency. During his absence, Ahok has been replacing him as the acting governor.
Based on a letter from the Home Affairs Ministry, Jokowi returns to the City Hall after the General Elections Commission (KPU) announced the result of presidential election on July 22. Based on KPU’s recapitulation yesterday, Jokowi won the election with 53.15 percent of national votes.
