TEMPO.CO, Taipei - Three Indonesian doubles have booked tickets to play at the 2014 Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold final today. Each doubles represented Indonesian men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. The shuttlers are all getting ready to face the contenders from China in the last battle today.
Andrei/Hendra survived the semifinal match against Japan's Hiroyuki Saeki/Ryota Taihata in two straight games 26-24 and 23-21 yesterday. The men's doubles will take on Li Junhui/Yuchen Liu in the final.
The women's doubles Nitya/Greysia defeated China's Yuang Tang/Huang Yaqjong 21-16 and 21-17 in the semifinal to meet other Chinese opponent Xiaoli Wang/Yang Yu in final.
Alfian Eko Prasetya/Annisa Saufika become the only Indonesian mixed doubles to reach the final after winning over China’s Chan Yun Lung/Tse Ying Suet 21-13 and 21-16.
Alfian/Annisa is set to face Yuchen Liu/Xiaohan Yu who took down other Indonesian shuttlers Markis Kido/Pia Zebaidah in the semifinal.
