TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Microsoft's Cortana has recently become the hot topic since the personal digital assistant has correctly predicted 12 winners out of the 16 World Cup matches. Now for the final, Cortana has guessed that Germany will overpower Argentina at the Maracana Stadium tomorrow.
As reported by The Telegraph, in a trial, Cortana mentioned that Germany is going to claim their fourth world cup trophy this year.
When Cortana was asked: "Who will win the Germany-Argentina match", Cortana responds: "It's too early to say for sure, but I'd give Germany the edge over Argentina".
Cortana has also guessed that Brazil will get another defeat in the Saturday match to claim the third place against Netherlands.
Cortana's predictions are based on the search using Microsoft's Bing search engine, which was updated at the beginning of the tournament to support World Cup predictions.
Microsoft's predictive models evaluate the strength of each team through a variety of factors such as previous win/loss/tie record in qualification matches and other international competitions, and margin of victory in these contests.
