TEMPO.CO, Madrid - Real Madrid seem to have lesser pressure on their shoulder, compared to their counterpart Bayern Muenchen. The two teams are to face a deadly duel at Santiago Bernabeu at Champions League semifinal tonight.
On Monday's training session at Valdebebas, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted on the field, after having a leave of absence for three weeks due to injury. Unlike Ronaldo, the 100-million-dollar man Gareth Bale was not seen among his teammates, with initial report concluded he was kept out of flu.
With no confirmation if Bale is going to field in homeground Bernabeu tonight, Madrid might need to find another solution in their abundant stock of players. Regardless, Bale has been significant for Los Blancos in the last couple of weeks, filling in the shoes of the injured CR7.
The Media have also been exposing the fact that Madrid might as well secure a spot in the final, as Coach Ancelotti has never been subdued by the Bavarians. During his time in AC Milan, Ancelotti's squad has faced Muenchen six times, with four winnings and no defeat. The track record contradicts Madrid, which only won 3 out of 10 matches against Muenchen.
