TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has admitted that he has been frustrated and disappointed by the team's performance this season.
"Frustration & disappointment sums up the season so far," Ferdinand said on Twitter, as reported by Sports Mole.
Manchester United's failure to compete in the Champions League next season has been added to the list of disappointing results after they were defeated by Everton 2-0 on Sunday.
Along this season, David Moyes and United has been facing tough season. Not only failed in the Champions League, FA CUP and the League Cup, United has booked a number of records in losing. Currently, Manchester united in the seventh position of the Premier League table.
Ferdinand's frustration and disappointment might affect his future at Old Trafford. Ferdinand's contract will end in June 2014, and the management does not plan to extend the 35-year-old defender.
