TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecasted that medium to heavy rain will shower the capital on Wednesday, April 16 2014.
According to the BMKG, medium rain has already poured in North and West Jakarta this morning. In North Jakarta, light rain is expected to last until nighttime today. In West Jakarta, light rain is likely to become heavy at noon and will return to light in the evening.
In Central, East and South Jakarta, low to medium rain will fall beginning at noon until nighttime, with temperatures ranging from 24 – 33 degrees Celsius and humidity around 62-96 percent.
Rain will also pour in the areas of Bogor, Tangerang, Depok and Bekasi. In Bogor, light to medium rain will fall all day long. Residents on the banks of Ciliwung River are called on to prepare themselves against possible flooding.
