TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Teachers' Union (FSGI) has reported cases of answer keys selling practice on senior high final examination. Since April 1, there have been reports of such practice in four major cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Medan.
"There have been 11 reports in total. Among all kind of reports is the answer keys selling practice," said FSGI Secretary General Retno Listyarti. Moreover, she suspected that it might involved some school's alumnus.
Therefore, she claimed that no teacher was involved in the practice, "particularly senior high teachers in the big cities," she said. As for the students, Retno mentioned that most of the perpetrators were actively seeking for the answer keys, gathering collective fund for purchasing the answer keys.
"Cases of cheat in the national examination are culminating," Retno said, while suggesting that she opposed the idea of national examination. "However, this is a matter of system and policy."
