Police Nab 2 Indonesians, 2 Malaysians for Smuggling Drugs

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian police have arrested two Malaysians and two Indonesians for allegedly smuggling four kilograms of heroin to Indonesia.
"We arrested them all on Thursday at Permata Indah Hotel, Teluk Gong, North Jakarta," said the Head of Indonesian Police Anti-Drug Directorate, Brigadier General Arman Depari yesterday.
The two Malaysians, Yeoh Toke Theng and Koay Kheng Chuan, acted as the supplier of the heroin, while two Indonesians, Tandean and Bung Hua Jung, acted as the courier and the buyer respectively.
Arman said that their arrest began from the information given by the Malaysian Police to the Indonesian's.
The police are still investigating the case and have yet to confirm whether the four men are a part of a bigger network.
If proven guilty, the four suspects will be charged with Article 114 Chapter 2 of the Law on Anti-Drugs, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of Rp10 billion.
