TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Education Agency chief, Lasro Marbun, has prohibited political party members from being involved in submitting Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) participants.
"For the new period, there is no more submission through political parties or outside schools," Lasro told Tempo, Wednesday.
Lasro has evaluated and ordered all of his subordinates not to accept submission from political parties. He has also imposed regulations that KJP submission can only be done through school. The submission of those having already received KJP from out of school will not be continued.
Previously, several high school students admitted to have received KJP without registering through their school. They said they were 'helped' by people from political parties who are close to their relatives.
