TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Mata Elang International Stadium in Ancol, Jakarta will be shaken by the performance of rock band Alter Bridge, tonight. Mark Tremonti, Myles Kennedy, Brian Marshal and Scott Philips are coming to Jakarta upon a request of the 'AB Nations' in Indonesia.
"We are planning to perform around 18 to 19 songs. We are grateful to be able to perform in Indonesia, thanks to the solid fan base in Indonesia," said Mark Tremonti to Tempo on Friday, March 7.
Andry Tanzil, the CEO of 7Kings entertainment said that the gate will be opened starting from 17:00 pm with the opening performance of Indonesian band, Netral.
The concert becomes the part of Alter Bridge's World Tour entitled 'Alter Bridge Tour-Jakarta 2014' to promote their album, Fortress. The album, which is produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, becomes the evidence of Alter Bridge's identity evolution. The hit songs Open Your Eyes, Broken Wings, Watch Over You, Come to Life, Blackbird, Rise Today, Ghost of Days Gone by, Slip to the Void, Cry Achilles, and many more will be among the songs they performing tonight.
Alter Bridge is one of the most influential hard rock or heavy metal bands. In 2004, their debut One Day Remains won the gold record sales, a significant achievement in the era of illegal downloading. In 2007, Alter Bridge released the Blackbird album which introduced the band's profile to the international music industry.
