TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bogor regional government stated that they will initiate an investigation on the source of the permits issued for a number of villas and buildings that stood on top of state-owned and conservation area lands. "All types of buildings that stand on state-owned land are illegal," said Deputy Regent of Bogor Nurhayanti yesterday.
According to Nurhayanti, if there is any building that has a Building Development Permit (IMB) over government land or conservation areas, it must be illegal.
Previously, the villas constructed in Bukit Garden area, Cisarua, were claimed to have an IMB. Later on, it was revealed that the Building Use Permit (HGB) of the villas has expired since 2012, rendering the IMB obsolete.
Bogor Pamong Praja Police Chief Luthfi Syam, said that they will investigate who had issued the permit. He also said that he will arrange a meeting with the building owners, the village head, sub-district chief, Building Layout Agency, Land Agency and the Pamong Praja Police.
