TEMPO.CO, Madrid - Despite having signed many star players like Bale, Isco, Asier Illarramendi, and Casemiro, Real Madrid is planning to recruit Chelsea's little energizer bunny Ramires as a replacement for Xabi Alonso, whose contract ends by the end of this season.
Ramires remained as Jose Mourinho's first option as a midfielder, although the Blues had previously relied on John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien. Newbies like Willian and Kevin de Bruyne were also having a struggle to knock Ramires out of the starting eleven.
Madrid is said to be willing to pay 15 million poundsterlings for the player. However, Chelsea will likely to accept the bid if it is higher than Ramires' original price tag of 19,6 million poundsterlings.
