TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The newly-appointed head of TransJakarta management, Pargaulan Butarbutar, said that there were shootings in two TransJakarta shelters Corridor IX with the route of Pinang Ranti-Pluit.
"The shootings occurred in Cawang Cikoko and Cawang Ciliwung bus shelters," Pargaulan told Tempo this morning.
Sri Ulina, spokesman of TransJakarta management, said that TransJakarta staff in the shelter heard the sound of a glass crack. The staff then checked the glass, which has a hole in a size of a bullet. "The shootings' locations were near the automatic doors which face to the direction of Pinang Ranti, which both locations are similar," Sri explained.
"This has been happening for more than five times," Sri added. The management has reported the incidents to the Tebet and Jatinegara Police Sectors.
Earlier, on August 4 last year, five shelters in Cawang and North Jakarta were shot at around 23.10 Western Indonesian Time. The five shelters are Pancoran Tugu, Cikoko Stasiun Cawang, two others are in Cawang Ciliwung and Tebet BKPM.
