Central Java High Prosecutor Office Chase Down 13 Corruptors

TEMPO.CO, Semarang – Central Java High Prosecutor Office is currently in pursuit of 13 graft suspects with various status in the province.
"Some are suspects. Some others are already convicts," said Eko Suwarni, the Chief of Information Section at Central Java High Prosecutor Office. "We will keep on chasing them."
Included in the list is the former governor of Semarang, Bambang Guritno, suspect in a corruption case on the procurement of textbooks in 2004. His case cost the nation Rp 3,3 billion (around US$324,009).
In addirion to Bambang, Indra Wayudi, suspect of corruption case on the reimbursement budget of Semarang-Solo toll road project at Jatirunggo Village, Semarang, is also included in the list.
"We have reported our wanted list to Adhyaksa Monitoring Center at the Supreme Court," Eko said. The report serves to corrdinate all prosecutor offices across the nation in an effort to locate the suspects.
