Perez Sacrifices Mourinho for upcoming Presidential Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Florentino Perez, Real Madrid's President, clarified that Mourinho left after being expelled by Spanish public. However, there is another notion hinting that it was Perez forcing Mourinho to leave. Perez saw it was necessary to take the measurement to maintain his image in the upcoming Real Madrid presidential election on June 16.
At the same time he announced Mourinho's leaving, Perez said that he would step in again as Real Madrid’s presidential candidate. "Real Madrid is more united than ever," said Perez as quoted by Marca, on Monday. "I have no idea if there is other candidates. At least there must be one, unless in the previous election. It might be good if there is more than a single candidate."
Last year, Marca, Spanish biggest and the most influential sport magazine, held a vote resulting in 82.4 percent of 100,000 Madridista wished Mou to leave. A month later, Guardian published its vote of 704 respondent resulting in 61.6 percent said that Mou’s comments and acts were bad for the the club image.
Some Madrid's supporters like Los Dos dan De Ronda began to make Perez consider not keeping Mou. They said that madrid never liked the controversy surrounding Mourinho.
Perez gained Madrid's presidency in 2009, after campaigning Los Galacticos II. Coach Manuel Pellegrini, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, and Karim Benzema became the manifestation of his campaign. After finishing the season without a single title, Mourinho was then transferred in 2010. In 3 musim, Mourinho could only give three prestigious titles: Copa del Rey 2010/11, La Liga 2011/12, and Spain Super Cup 2012.
