TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A small team consisted of nine members of the Bank Century Case Monitoring Team on Monday afternoon, May 13, has held a meeting to discuss the team's programs and objectives for the fourth assembly period of 2012-2013.
The meeting was held at the House of Representatives' (DPR) speaker room at 1 p.m. "We'll schedule, among others, a meeting with the Corruption Eradication Commission [KPK] chief to catch up on their latest finding and case investigation development," said Bambang Soesatyo, one of the team members contacted on Monday, May 13.
Bambang added that one of the information that the team was looking for from KPK was the result of the anti-corruption watchdog's investigation into former Finance Minister Sri Mulyani in Washington DC some time ago. The information is considered essential because after the questioning was conducted on the World Bank executive director, KPK chief Abraham Samad made some statements which were considered to be bombastic.
KPK deputy chief Bambang Widjojanto also said that the investigation on Sri Mulyani was related to the long term loan facilities given to Bank Century, which has currently changed its name to Bank Mutiara.
