TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A cashier of PT Indoguna Main, Pudji Aminingrum Rahayu, admitted to have disbursed Rp1.3 billion on the orders of the company's Finance Director, Soraya Kusuma Effendi. The money was cashed on January 29, 2013 at the request of the Ahmad Fathanah to Indoguna Managing Director, Mary Elizabeth Liman, on the day before.
Pudji said that Rp500 million was given to Indoguna's Director Arya Abdi Effendi while the remainder was kept. She added that when she came to Arya's room to office to deliver the money, there was another Indoguna Director, Juard Effendi. Juard was also named as a defendant in the beef import bribe.
"In addition to them, there was another guest that I did not know," she said while testifying at the Corruption Court with as defendants Arya and Juard, Wednesday May 1.
Arya and Juard are charged with participating in bribing former President of the Prosperity and Justice Party (PKS), Lutfi Hasan Ishaaq, through his aide Ahmad Fathanah to raise beef import quota in the Agriculture Ministry.
