KPK Searches Housing Developer Office in Bogor
TEMPO Interactive, Bogor:Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officers searched the marketing office of Bogor Nirwana Residence (BNR), on Wednesday, September 12. The search was reportedly conducted in regard to the development of a graft case involving Al-Qur’an provision at the Religious Ministry, which has implicated Golkar Party politician Zulkarnaen Djabar.
BNR marketing manager Ansori Wahid confirmed the KPK investigator’s visit to his office. However, the manager said he could share the details of the visit because he was in Jakarta attending a BoD meeting. The elite housing developer belongs to the Bakrie Group.
“Yes, the KPK did visit [my office]. I just received the report at 5 p.m. from my employees at the office because I have been in the Jakarta office for a meeting since morning,” said Ansori contacted on Wednesday evening, September 12.
Ansori said that he was surprised especially after he received a report that the search was conducted in regard to graft allegations involving Zulkarnaen Djabar. “I don’t know him, let alone know him personally. I know him from the news,” Ansori added.
