Hartati’s Hospital Room Manned by Bodyguards
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Hartati Murdaya, a businesswoman and suspect in a bribery scandal involving the Buol regent, was still being treated at Medistra Hospital on Gatoro Subroto, South Jakarta, as of Sunday, September 9. Tempo received information that Hartati is being treated in room 712.
When Tempo visited Medistra Hospital, Room 712, the room was closed. On the wooden door there was sign saying, “Sorry, the patient is not allowed to receive guests.”
There were two well-built people standing outside the door. The two ‘bodyguards’ were wearing brown long sleeved batik shirts and black trousers, were carrying walkie-talkies and were accompanied by a Chinese man.
