Marty: 'Israel Is Not Brave Enough to Face Facts'
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said on Wednesday that Israel's ban on his entrance into Ramallah of the West Bank was proof that Israel was nothing more than a country that could not stand up to facts. "Israel is a country or an entity that in truth, is not brave enough to face fact," Marty said on Wednesday. He said alongside him, representatives from Bangladesh, Malaysia and Venezuela were banned from entering into Ramallah had been in connection with a key meeting of ministers from the Non-Aligned Movement scheduled to be held within the West Bank. The meeting was canceled after Israel denied the four entry. The meeting was aimed for the signing of a declaration in support of Palestine's bid to secure an upgraded UN membership.
