SOEs To be Included on Forbes List, says Analyst
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Capital market analyst, Steve Susanto, is that convinced a number of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) such as PT Telkom Tbk and the State Electricity Company (PLN) have an opportunity to be included on Forbes magazine’s list of the best companies in Asia. "I notice that SOEs have good management, and many SOE companies are also good," he said on Sunday. He said that PT Telkom and PLN have strong reputations in the market. "They are no longer burdened by social goals either," said Steve. Steve said he hoped that a growing number of other state enterprises could compete at the regional level in the future. "There is no need to go public, the important thing is significant improvement in management," he said. SATWIKA MOVEMENTI
