The Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) party is currently preparing the declaration of Prabowo as a presidential candidate for this coming October. “Yogyakarta is the city of Pancasila and is closely associated with Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX as one of the nation’s founding fathers," said Hashim. "Of course we hope the Yogya community supports the nomination of Prabowo," he said. About the chances of Sultan Hamengku Buwono X accompanying Prabowo, Hashim just said, "The possibility exists." Hashim, a wealthy businessman, claims he is ready to support the nomination of his older brother, but he declined to say the budget had already been allocated.
