Rp 27B Spent in Repairs of West Jakarta’s 32 Roads
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Office of Public Works Road, West Jakarta City Administration will repair 32 roads. The total fundingin the Approved Budget Allocation List (DIPA) amounts to Rp27.5 billion. Work on the project to install concrete across a total area of47,731 square meters is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.
"In the third week of July contracts will be signed," said Head of the Office of Public Works Road, Yusmada Faisal, recently. The auction process has been concluded and has entered the period where participants can object to the announced winner of the prequalification.
In addition to constructing 32 concrete roads, the Office is also repairing sidewalks in. They are located along Jalan Puri Indah, Tomangsidewalk gates, Jalan Makaliwe Raya, Jalan Tanjung Duren Barat 3 and Barat 4 Tanjung Duren, and Jalan Kembangan Raya. "The DIPA for this project amounts to Rp10.9 billion," said Yusmada.
Moreover, an area of 281,666 square meters will be hotmixed. The work is divided into 20 units of work on 106 roads. Yusmada said that the work would ensure that the roads would provide more comfort. The total budget amounts to Rp40.8 billion. "Currently this project is75 percent completed," said Yusmada.
The Office of Public Works Road, West Jakarta, has earlier worked on installing concrete on 13 roads divided into 13 work units. Yusmada explained that the project was funded by a multi-year budget since 2011. Total funds needed are Rp33 billion. Yusmada explained that all of the repairs were expected to finish by the end of this year.
