Bank Century Customers Report to DPR Again
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Bank Century customers have requested legal protection in regard to financial losses caused by the Antaboga mutual fund, operated by Bank Century. “We have obtained a legally enforceable ruling from the Supreme Court, but it has not been executed,” said Solo’s Bank Century customer coordinator, Soetrisno, on Monday. Bank Century, which has since changed its name to Bank Mutiara, is reluctant to refund its customers’ deposits worth Rp35.4 billion and compensation of Rp5.6 billion although the Semarang District Court has ruled in favor of the customers. The ruling has also been substantiated by the Semarang High Court and later by the Supreme Court. SUBKHAN
