BPK Finds 115 Suspicious Accounts at NTT Administration
TEMPO Interactive, Kupang:The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Central Audit Agency (BPK) has identified at least 115 ‘rogue’ accounts belonging to the provincial government. The accounts are dormant and no information was found in regard to their existence. The accounts have not been followed-up by the regional administration since last year. The BPK rated the accounts as “reasonable with exceptions” (WDP). “Our opinion based on financial auditing is WDP,” said NTT BPK director Rudy Sinaga in Kupang on Tuesday. The status was issued because of 115 suspicious accounts identified in 2010. Only 37 accounts of those accounts have been terminated, while the treasurer of income and expenditures is using the remainder. YOHANES SEO
